Holiday Apartment in Praia da Luz

A resort which retains the charm and character of a Portuguese village and yet offers outstanding facilities and comfortable modern accommodation.

The Algarve is a province separated geographically from the rest of Portugal by the Monchique Mountains, and bordered to the south by the Atlantic Ocean.

The cost of living is relatively inexpensive in the Algarve, compared to other European holiday destinations, and there is a wide variety of local produce as well as imported goods available to buy.

Fresh fish and good local wines are readily available and fish is often eaten within hours of being caught.

The Algarve boasts over 3000 hours of annual sunshine and therefore virtually guarantees blue skies almost all year round.

The climate is great for outdoor activities and golf, horse riding and tennis are widely practiced throughout the whole year.

The local people are known for their hospitality, and many Algarvians speak English or German as a second language.

The Ocean Club has pools and tennis courts and there is a watersports centre on the beach. After the sun goes down the village has a disco, cinema and several bars and restaurants.

The town of Lagos is both quaintly historic and a great place for a night out. There's a busy bar and club scene from late till the morning. During the day there is a bus service to and from Lagos and at night taxis are pleasantly affordable.
